Tenancy Deposit scheme

Client Money Protection Scheme (CMP)

All property agents must sign-up to a government-approved Client Money Protection (CMP) scheme..

CMP is a reimbursement scheme designed to safeguard clients’ money that is held by agents, paying back tenants and landlords should an agent misappropriate the rent, deposit or other client funds. In simple terms, it means you’re protected should an agent unexpectedly stop trading.
