The service and communication from all of the staff I received from Gibbs Gillespie in Rickmansworth was excellent. They are kind and courteous and do understand how stressful a house purchase / sale is for the people involved and do not just treat it as another transaction.

The service I received was excellent from start to finish. From the day they valued my property until they had a firm offer for it was 6 days , after advertising it to their list of clients. The viewings were done without interruption of my time and arranged by them to suit me. They rang daily when the property was on the market and then each week while it was in the hands of the solicitors. The only “problem” I had was the information near to the contracts being signed was always “we are near to completion” and this phrase was used for over 3 weeks before they were signed and it was as if they were out of touch with the conveyors ( or they wanted to always pass on “positive “ feedback. Anyway that was a minor problem annoying, but did not affect the excellent work they had done.

The staff were very good from the beginning to the end of my purchaseof the property. I will definately recommend them to my friends.

They are the market leaders in the area but have done little to shake the typical estage agent stereotype. We feel that the lack of transparency and honesty at tomes have caused us unnecessary delays in our purchase. They have been quick to respond to queries and accomodating in arranging viewings. If we had a choice, we would prefer to work with a smaller company offering a more personal service with greater transparency.
