After an initial rocky start, Gibbs Gillespie did successfully see the sale of my flat through within the context of a difficult market. I found them to be open to feedback and responsive when I had issues of concern which I needed to raise. Particular thanks to Morgan Withers who was in a league of his own in terms of professionalism and honesty. I found Morgan's approach to inspire trust and if everyone practices similarly then yes, I would recommend Gibbs Gillespie. Thank you Morgan.

First class service from start to finish

They were professional throughout & did an excellent job

Staff very helpful and friendly when under pressure to proceed when it was in my interest to have suitable home to move into after sale of large family home in neighbouring locality. Thank you very much.

Paid renewal rent commission recently, but Gibbs staff failed to obtain the requested rent increase, i.e. poor negotiation on their part.

Gibbs Gillespie provided an efficient service, in particular, dealing with the buyer who was difficult to contact. They perhaps overestimated, in initial discussions, the selling price which was disappointing. All viewings were handled totally by them which was definitely a good point saving me a lot of time. They produced a good brochure for posting out to potential buyers. Their knowledge of procedures was good and advice was easy to source from them. In the office they were professional yet able to make visits seem very easy and also enjoyable. House selling is a pressure part of life and they did all they could to ease the pressure.

Average overall service, I was disapointed with a few things. 1) I was initially told that I will own a share of the free hold of the property I purchased. When i was only told after my offer was accepted that I actually won’t own a share of the free hold. 2) I didn’t feel it overly professional when the salesman at Gibbs tried blaming my solicitor for the hold up in the sale completion, wven if it was my solicitors slowing up proceedings, I was made to feel as though it was all their fault and that was unnecessary. 3) When I finally picked up my keys, I wasn’t asked my name or to show any ID before the salesman just handed over the keys. I walked in and said I’m here to pick up keys for a property (and I have the name), and he said oh was it ‘......’. I agreed and he just handed the keys over. Anyone who knew about the sale could have got hold of my keys!

The staff in the Uxbridge office were all first class, friendly, efficient, punctual. Kept us well informed throughout the selling process. Special shout out to Joe Hill, also to Dan and Sophie. But everyone we spoke to was very nice.

Apart from organising many many viewings much of the work done and the information received was something my solicitor should have provided me with. All messages were passed on to me promptly and good advice given regarding the sale of my house. Thank you Morgan and the team!
