Rickmansworth Pancake Race

On Shrove Tuesday (March 8th) a team from Gibbs Gillespie will be taking part in the annual Pancake Race in Rickmansworth High Street and helping raise money for the charity Mencap.

Teams of four race up and down the High Street with frying pans and pancakes much to the amusement of what it is hoped will be a large and supportive crowd.

“It is very much a question of the taking part rather than the winning” said Gibbs Gillespie’s Rickmansworth branch manager Fiona Lewis. “Although given the competitive nature of our team, I know they will be going all out to try and set the best time too!”

The Rickmansworth Pancake Race is just one example of the many local community and charity activities that Gibbs Gillespie get involved in and Founding Partner Paul Gillespie said: “At Gibbs Gillespie we welcome the opportunity to get involved in community and charity activities such as the Rickmansworth Pancake Race and our staff love taking part, having fun and making a contribution to help others.”
