We are extremely proud to have won two awards at the recent 2010 Guild of Professional Estate Agents Annual Conference held at the Park Lane Hotel in Piccadilly, London.  Gibbs Gillespie received an award for Best in Class Estate Agent for the London region and the top National Estate Agency of the Year award for UK's Best Independent Estate Agency. 

Gibbs Gillespie was chosen by an independent panel after completing a detailed questionnaire covering numerous aspects of its operation including staff training and professionalism, online strategies, and also recent innovations in its property marketing.

2009 saw Gibbs Gillespie receive the ultimate industry accolade by being crowned as the Overall Winner at The Sunday Times Estate Agency of the Year Awards which is widely recognised as the most important event in the industry calendar. Following their initial submission, the winners of the 28 categories were subjected to rigorous scrutiny by a panel of independent industry experts with the whole judging process overseen by the Property Ombudsman Christopher Hamer. Every year The Negotiator magazine (the leading magazine for estate agents) holds an industry awards ceremony sponsored by the Daily Mail's Digital Property Group (Primelocation.co.uk and Findaproperty.co.uk). This year, 2009, we won UK's Best Lettings Agency (regional chain) beating off stiff competition from around the country. The awards celebrated the sector's entrepreneurialism, innovation and business acumen. The Negotiator Annual Awards invited nominations from across the UK with each nominee required to submit written answers to a series of questions.The finalists were then judged by a prestigious panel of senior figures from the industry, including Bill McClintock the CEO of the Property Ombudsman service.

We are extremely proud to have won the top five star award in the category of Best Estate Agency in Hertfordshire at the Daily Mail UK Property Awards 2009. These awards are globally respected International Awards, which have been running for 15 years with each finalist required to submit written answers to a series of questions. Founding Partner, Paul Gillespie, said "I'm honoured by this award. Fiona Lewis is an extremely dedicated estate agent. Her commitment to excellence in customer service and sales negotiation has resulted in many successful sales over the past year. Gibbs Gillespie overcame strong competition to win this award, which was judged by an illustrious panel of well respected property professionals including Ben Wood, industry head property markets of Google UK and Peter Bolton King, group chief executive of the National Federation of Property Professionals. This award is made to the estate agency judged to be number one for the quality and consistency of its company presentation, advertising and marketing.

The residential sales and lettings' team at Gibbs Gillespie offices across Middlesex have plenty to celebrate after the company was officially named the county's Best Estate Agency for the second time in just two years at the Daily Mail UK Property Awards 2009. The judges recognised the unique style and distinctive marketing of our corporate brand and identity. More importantly, Gibbs Gillespie has been consistently recognised for its marketing innovation and the quality services it offers to its clients. This very visible form of branding is an integral part of the marketing plan of today's professional estate agency practices.

For the third consecutive year, The Mortgage and Insurance Bureau, a subsidiary of Gibbs Gillespie, was awarded a key prize at the Mortgage Intelligence Annual Conference Awards ceremony. These awards are part of the globally respected International Awards, which have been running for 13 years. To showcase the Gibbs Gillespie business model the Ruislip office was chosen as our representative. Gibbs Gillespie Estate Agents have twice won a highly prestigious award at the world's largest relocation company, Cartus Mobility's annual dinner and awards ceremony in London. The National Award is a contest between leading independent estate agents up and down the country who have been selected in their area as being the 'best of the best'. Outstanding customer service, contributions to the estate agency profession, innovation and community service were amongst the criteria for success in winning these National Awards. Gibbs Gillespie won the inaugural Cartus Cup in 2005 and won the Masters Cup in 2007.

Winner 1998 - Best Independent Residential Sales Office for the London Area

1998 saw Gibbs Gillespie win its first prestigious award at the National Estate Agency of the Year Awards, sponsored by the Nationwide Building Society, based on the results of 18,500 questionnaires from customers across the UK who were asked to award marks for a range of factors from quality of service to property knowledge. This was combined with a 'mystery shopping' exercise which was carried out on the 52 finalists. These awards seeked to recognise those estate agents who offer their clients the best possible standards of service together with the ability to solve any problems efficiently and professionally.
